All the frames and components are tested and developed on the rough, steep roads and technical trails of the surrounding Peak District National Park. We believe that Titanium is the best material forany rigid bicycle frame. It's better than any other material in nearly all aspects. Titanium is extremely durable and does not corode and the frame will last for a life time.
Langsett Cycles is one of the oldest cycle shops in the country. It began trading around 1890 on Langsett Road and moved to the present Infirmary Road premises in 1930 and has been an integral part ofcycling in the Yorkshire/Derbyshire area ever since. Jim was not only a Highly Successful Team Manager he found sponsorships such as Ovaltine, Airlite, Benelux, Tizer (BARR), Hi-Lift, Dare Grips, O'brien, etc. to create and run various winning teams oneof which was the Elswick Hopper Team in 1958. In short Jim Wilson was an amazing bike rider, athlete and person, considering he had come back from near fatal injuries after being left to fend for himself on the beaches at Dunkirk.
