With our Hertford shop now open since March 2012, we aim to provide the local and surrounding communities with all of their cycling needs. We believe in the traditional values of excellent service andgood quality products, and with our emphasis on customer service we are now receiving second generation clientèle from our original customers.
We are an independent, rider-owned and run, bike shop based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. We think it's important that people support their local bike shop, which is why we decided to set up our ownshop, created with a vision to be the kind of shop we ourselves wanted to frequent. But we also know that it's sometimes easier to order parts, accessories and even entire bikes online. As such we hope you'll be able to do both - support your local bike shop whilst also ordering online.
Harpenden Cycles was opened in 1989 by David Wright and a young Liam Jeffries who was a staple part of the business for 17 years. Following Davids retirement in 2014, Liam now owns the businessalongside his friend Brian with support from their partners and friends. The shop has traded from the same site at 115 Southdown Road in Harpenden for over 20 years and although we have changed in size and in staff, we still remain a pillar of the community for our skill, experience and antiquity.
TRIATHLON ZONE specialises in road and time trial bikes focussing on the special requirements of triathletes from newcomers to well seasoned Ironmen. Our bike range is very carefully selected toensure an optimum ratio between quality and price. We offer honest and expert advice when making that all important decision to buy your first or next bike.
Mike Narramore the founder of Cycle-Tech Hertfordshire has been cycling for almost 30 years, mostly off road, but also the occasional charity road rides at various locations across the country. Duringthose times he has regularly spent time carrying out routine repairs en-route. Mike saw an opportunity to offer a flexible on or off site service to fellow cycle enthusiasts who share his passion for cycling.

Bikeactive has been around for almost 10 years now and is owned by two brothers Rob and Nick, who live and breathe mountain bikes. We are a small independant and we only sell the brands we like andtrust. We have ridden nearly every bike we sell so we are more than happy to give sound advise. We have years of experience in selling bikes in store and online. Over the years we have established ourselves as one of the countries leading dealers of Orange Bikes, Commencal, Lapierre and Intense Cycles.
I have ridden as a commuter, in sportives and for family exercise. I have great enthusiasm for bikes as masterpieces of engineering, but also because they are the most accessible, sustainable, healthyand fun form of transport around. We are a small but professional company dedicated to bringing a friendly and convenient approach to keeping your bikes working smoothly.
There is nothing better than having a customer bring their new bike back for its first service and saying what a great time they have been having. We could be selling TVs and we would never get thatkind of feedback. If we do our job right we know that our customers will be comfortable, enjoying the great outdoors, saving money and getting healthier, that's worth opening up for every day. Because of this we only sell products that we know work and are suitable for purpose.
