In recent years it has become easier to travel by bike with increased miles of traffic free cycle tracks for work, shopping or social rides.

Employers providing cycle parks and showers/charging areas for cycling employees. Councils are providing cycle parks for shoppers. Cycling groups provide guided rides. Councils provide cycle training and commuter rides. Cyclists keep fit. Cycling is a low impact exercise, so muscles and organs can be exercised without putting a great strain on the joints. The more often you go out cycling the more energy you have for other things in life.
