About the Business

The company was founded by my Grandfather who cycled the length and breadth of the UK for fun and started fixing bikes in his shed. He then opened 3 shops around Oxford under the name of Wyeth's which also sold Hornby railway sets and fishing equipment. Before he retired, he left the Abingdon branch to my Father and will continue to be passed through the generations. For me, it started when I would take my toys apart to see how they worked.

A curious mind. This lead naturally to a ‘make do and mend' attitude and with helping my Dad out on bikes, it's been hands on since then. Both my brothers cycle everywhere and help out sometimes to. We can usually find exactly what you're looking for in our ‘Aladdin's cave' but in the rare chance we can't then we'll order it in.
