Fred Williams Cycles (Also known as FRED'S because of our cycling team and kit) is a bicycle repair and retailer, specialising in lightweight road cycles. It was initially established in 1950 by FredWilliams but is now run by his two sons, Mike and Steve Williams. The shopfront is located at 37 Snow Hill, Wolverhampton. Bike Pro Racing is a family business, established in 1986. We moved to our current location in Kings Heath in 1992. At the start, we sold mountain bikes, BMX bikes and skateboards. As skateboardsbecame less popular, we focused completely on bikes and haven't looked back. Thorntons cycle centre has been trading for over 40 years, established in 1969 by Mr Sid Thornton. It is now owned by his son David. Thorntons have four staff - Max, Phil, James and Dan. Thorntonssuffered a deverstating fire in january 2010 and had to move to temporary premises for 12 months while renovations were done. They moved back in january 2011 and now have fully stocked air conditioned showrooms on 2 floors.

B.D Price Cycles has been in Sedgley near Wolverhampton for over 100 years. Throughout the early 1900s we manufactured the Sedgley Beacon range of Cycles and the cycle factory buildings are stillowned by the family.
