Doug Scott Cycles was opened in 1985 by Hull born cyclist Doug Scott. Since his very early childhood Doug had a fascination with bikes. He built them, he rode them, and he helped family and friends when problems arose with their bikes. He finally got his chance to live his dream, and in 1985 established his very own retail shop, catering to folks who loved bikes as he did. Building a succesful local business around a product he loved, Doug worked and played hard.
